Passion for music, curiosity about the world and its peoples and love for communication are the three aspects that articulate Juan Antonio’s professional career. He has spent more than 35 years developing and perfecting this recipe, which has led him to become a global reference figure in the field of the dissemination of music rooted in the legacy of the peoples.

In addition to his constant work in various media, mainly radio, Juan Antonio is the founder and administrator of the global network of specialised disseminators Transglobal World Music Chart and a regular judge in music competitions, both thematic and specialised, and has given talks on world music at events in Europe and Asia.

Juan Antonio currently produces Mundofonías, a radio programme with two weekly one-hour broadcasts, which is aired on more than 50 stations in 18 countries in Europe and the Americas, as well as Mil Mundos, on Radio Clásica (Radio Nacional de España).
